Hazel is a multi-skilled researcher with cross-disciplinary knowledge in social-psychological concepts, research methodology, and multicultural issues. She has produced peer-reviewed scientific papers, government reports, statistical data trend reports and evaluations. Her work has been presented at numerous conferences and is often cited in new research. She won competitive funding from the National Science Foundation to support her research and received the UNL Levine Diversity Enhancement award among other research awards.
Alisha is a lawyer, trained mediator and restorative justice facilitator, program evaluator, social science researcher, and policy analyst. Drawing on over a decade of experience, Alisha uses evidence-based strategies and data analytics to identify and resolve programmatic problems that translate into organizational policy change. Alisha discovered her passion for DEI following several consultation opportunities with non-profit organizations, research and policy organizations, and government agencies.
Chelsea is a writer, educator, marketing professional, academic researcher, advocate, storyteller, and program development specialist. She builds curricula that synthesize research on issues of race, class, and gender to promote inclusivity and nurture empathetic communities. As Education and Outreach Coordinator for the Nebraska Supreme Court Office of Public Guardian, Chelsea developed e-learning programs that protected civil rights for persons with disabilities. Additionally, she launched multimodal outreach campaigns and improved research methods, online program evaluation, and organizational reporting. Chelsea’s professional experience in communications includes managing web development, social media, email, and print outreach marketing for private, public, and nonprofit entities. She simplifies data into accessible stories that resonate with stakeholders.
